Missions:
The mechanic maintains and repairs our customers' machines, equipment and equipment used on public works sites and mainly VRD. He helps establish maintenance and repair diagnostics for our customers' machines in order to keep them in good working order: pulling winch, reel trailer, reel jack, small construction equipment, small lifting and jacking equipment, etc.
Troubleshooting and repair techniques call upon skills such as mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics. He complies with the recommendations and procedures in force within his company and takes safety into account.
DIAGNOSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Perform diagnostics, detect and locate faults, perform tests, identify the cause of the fault and identify the technical interventions to be carried out, the parts and elements to be replaced, know how to explain a fault and get remote assistance (by an expert or the manufacturer)
Establish the list of parts and elements to be replaced and transmit the information to the technical manager to establish the maintenance and/or repair estimate, the mechanic must report to his hierarchical manager or workshop manager on the work carried out and report any anomaly or problem that could affect the safety of the proper functioning of the machines.
REPAIR AND TESTING
Perform periodic maintenance of the machines, perform routine maintenance of the construction site equipment, carry out the repair following the diagnosis established beforehand, remedy malfunctions by carrying out the necessary repairs, check the proper functioning of the repaired machines before making them available again in order to guarantee the quality of the intervention carried out.
Record the work carried out in the maintenance logbook and any additional work to be undertaken in order to remove reservations on the VGP (Periodic General Inspection) and keep the maintenance logbook up to date on our CMMS system to feed the inventory management.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The construction machinery mechanic works in a repair shop or outside in the event of an intervention on the site regardless of the climatic circumstances.
He carries out his activity based on a repair order completed under the responsibility of the workshop manager who guarantees the admissibility of the intervention carried out. Independent, he may also be required to carry out certain work in a team and must follow the requested training in order to maintain his level of technical knowledge. He is in contact with the workshop manager for instructions on use and maintenance.
Experience & Skills
Training >Bac Pro and/or BTS in mechanics or electrotech or proven experience
>5 years of experience in a similar field
Languages: fluent French essential, others welcome
You are proficient in IT tools, such as ERP and office software
